How to grow Somango

Like all plants with a strong Skunk influence, it’s very easy to grow, resistant, and ideal for beginners looking for a strain that, without much care, offers top-tier results.

When grown outdoors starting in early spring and the climate is favorable, it can reach a huge height of 3 meters.

The flowering period is quite short, and it’s harvested in mid-October. In the final weeks, branches will need supports so they don’t give in to the weight of the flowers and break.

Indoors, it’s a perfect cannabis variety for the most impressive SCROG grows. When pruning or guiding branches, it branches out quickly and can cover large cultivation areas in a few weeks.

From when the growth photoperiod is changed to flowering, it’s harvested in 9-10 weeks. The Skunk lineage means the smell during this phase is very intense, and it’s advised to use a good carbon filter.

Characteristics of Somango

The buds are enormous, hard as rocks, and loaded with shiny and sticky resin crystals. It produces spectacular hashish, very typical in Dutch Coffee-Shops.

The yields are XXL. Outdoors, the taller plants will produce up to 1 kilo. Indoors, production will be up to 550 grams per m² when using a 300-350 W LED light.

The aroma and flavor are tropical and exotic. Pleasant ripe mango notes will awaken and stimulate the senses of taste and smell as with few other marijuanas.

The effects cause an intense and quick onset full of energy, which soon envelops you in extreme relaxation leading to the most pleasant dreams.
